C.J. Eick enters his second season as an assistant coach for the Trinity College men's ice hockey program in the upcoming 2023-24 season. A graduate of Michigan Technological University with a bachelor's degree in sports and fitness management, Eick joins the Trinity coaching staff following a highly-successful playing career. Eick was a four-year player for Michigan Tech from 2012 to 2016 and went on to play for the Utah Grizzlies in the East Coast Hockey League from 2016 to 18, where he was a team captain. Eick later played for the Kansas City Mavericks and the Indy Fuel in the ECHL. Eick has perviously been a head instructor for Olson Hockey Development, and an instructor for the Michigan Tech Hockey School.
