Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2015-16: All NESCAC Second Team...semifinalist for the Joe Concannon Award as the best American-born college hockey player in New England at the NCAA Division II/III level...appeared in every game...led Trinity in game-winning goals (tied), 3rd on team in goals (tied) and scoring (t7th in NESCAC) and t4th in assists...tallied 100th point against Colby...finished with 10 goals and 12 assists while appearing in 26 games...netted three game winners this season against Stonehill, Colby, and during overtime against Elmira. 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2014-15: Appeared in every game...2015 NESCAC Player of the Year...AHCA/CCM Division II-III 1st Team All-American...New England Hockey Writers Association Division II/III New England All-Star Team...All-NESCAC 1st Team...led NESCAC and finished 16th nationally in scoring (MacColl Gold Stick Award) and paced Trinity in goals (2nd in NESCAC), T2nd on team in assists (T2nd in NESCAC) and power-play goals (T4th in NESCAC), and T3rd on team in game-winning goals (T5th in NESCAC)...had five multi-goal games...recorded a season-high four points thanks to three goals and an assist in a 7-2 win versus Amherst...had three assists in a 9-1 win versus UMass Dartmouth and a 6-5 triumph versus Bowdoin...had a goal and an assist in the National Championship game versus Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2013-14: NESCAC Rookie of the Year...New England Hockey Writers Association Division II/III New England All-Star Team...All-NESCAC 1st Team...top-scoring rookie in the nation and in Trinity history...3rd on team in goals (T4th in NESCAC, 8th in nation), assists (3rd in nation), and points (3rd in nation, new rookie record), and tied for 3rd on team in both power-play goals (T5th in NESCAC) and game-winning goals (T5th in NESCAC)...had a goal and two assists, including the game-winner late in the 3rd period of a 4-3 win against Tufts...registered a goal and four assists in a 10-1 win over Western New England...had a hat trick in a 6-3 win against Colby...had two goals and two assists in a 7-1 win over Hamilton.

PERSONAL: Majoring in economics and philosophy with a minor in legal studies...son of Sheri and Brent Cole and brother of sophomore teammate Brandon Cole...father played ice hockey and baseball at Dartmouth and grandfather played baseball at Stanford.
