AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2015: Appeared in 14 games on defense, including eight starts...had nine ground balls and seven caused turnovers...had a season-high three ground balls against Williams...had two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 16-6 win versus Western Connecitcut State.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2014: Saw action in 11 games during his first season with the team... grabbed six ground balls and caused five turnovers... went 17-56 in the faceoff cirlce.

PERSONAL: Also played wide receiver for his high school State championship football team...Loves video games...has three siblings...Son of Ahmad and Rebecca Shamim
