AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020-21: NESCAC All-Academic Team.
BEFORE TRINITY: Also wrestled in high school.
PERSONAL: Earned Faculty Honors in the spring and fall of 2019...Internationally-ranked debater...New York City Champion in the Law and Government "We the People" Competition...finished second in the New York City Moot Court and came in third for the New York/United States National Moot Court at the United Nations International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands...interned at Goldman Sachs and for a judge at the New York Supreme Court...volunteers for a non-profit (Sonia and Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program) that provides diverse and low income NYC students with legal internships and college preparation...member of Trinity's investment club...enjoys baseball, camping, cooking, country music, fishing, learning languages, global politics, running, and traveling...speaks French and is learning Arabic at Trinity...interested in becoming a lawyer or working for the State Department abroad...majoring in Middle East Studies and political science...son of Jeannine and Dario Guirola.
WHY I CHOSE TRINITY:Â After a campus visit, I fell in love with the faculty, the small class sizes, the small town feel and the beauty of the campus.
