Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2013-14: All-NESCAC Second Team and NESCAC All-Academic Team honoree.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011-12: Rowed the No. 7 seat for the novice eight that won a gold medal in both the 2012 Knecht Cup and ECAC Championship Regatta and a silver medal in the 2012 New England Championships.

BEFORE TRINITY: Two-year member of first varsity eight for his high school team that finished 3rd in New England...rowed at the Head of the Charles in high school.

PERSONAL: Awarded the College's Book Prize for French in 2014...earned faculty honors in the fall of 2011...son of Mark and Eileen Komanecky...sister, Caroline, is on the track and field team at Colgate.
