Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2013-14: Won a silver medal as a member of Trinity's third varsity eight at the New England Rowing Championships...won a gold medal as a member of Trinity's Division II/III crew at the Knecht Cup.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2012-13: Rowed the No. 1 seat for the third varsity eight that won a gold medal in both the Knecht Cup Division II/III event and the New England Championships.

BEFORE TRINITY: Stotesburg Cup boys junior double champion in junior year of high school...member of a State Championship high school team that also advanced to Nationals.

PERSONAL: Earned a President's award in high school for volunteer service...Son of Scott and Belinda Nelson...father was on th swim team at Denver.
