AS A ROOKIE IN 2023: Competed in 15 games with 13 starts… Netted his first collegiate goal against Bowdoin College (Oct. 7th)... Closed the season with 3 goals, landing him fourth on the team… Murphy released 11 shots, with 7 on net for a shooting percentage of .636 on goal…

BEFORE TRINITY: Attended Saint Stephen’s & Saint Agnes in Alexandria, VA…Three year captain and led team in points/goals Junior and Senior year...VISAA All-State 2x...All IAC (Conference) x2...Washington Post-All Metropolitan Area (Honorable Mention)...also captain of varsity basketball. 

PERSONAL: Dean's List honors 9th-12th grade...enjoys watching football, cooking, and pickleball...majoring in economics...son of Ted and Liz Murphy.  

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity because of the balance of a great education and the opportunity to play soccer at a high level.
