BEFORE TRINITY: Captain, all-conference, all-regional, and All-State selection for his high school team that won a league title and a conference crown and finished ranked No. 10 nationally...mvp of Maroon and Black Invitational...also lettered in track and field and baseball in high school...played for a footbal club team that won a local championship...also attended the Hotchkiss School in Connecticut.

PERSONAL: Prefect/student leader in high school...has interned at the Alexandria Soccer Association...works as a videographer...helps coach at soccer clinics...enjoys filmmaking, skiing, and weight training...majoring in English and film studies...son of Susan and James Simpson...father played baseball at Duke...uncle, Scott, played baseball at Brown...cousin, Korbyn swims at Brown...earned Faculty Honors for Fall 2018
