Sami Ashton enters her third season as a member of the women's basketball program in a volunteer role since 2021-22. A 2020 graduate of Connecticut College, where she was a double major in biology and economics. Ashton was a four-year starter for the Camels and an All-New England Small College Athletic Conference honoree. She scored over 1,000 points in her career and ranks among the top ten all-time at her alma mater in free throws made, three-pointers made, and three-point field goal percentage. Ashton is employed at Trinity as the assistant director of annual giving in the office of advancement.
