2025 (SENIOR)
O'Brien capped his Trinity career with another productive season, appearing in all nine games and earning a prominent role as a receiver and return specialist… Finished the season with 44 receptions for 570 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 12.95 yards per reception and 63.3 receiving yards per game… Recorded a career-long 80-yard reception against Tufts on Oct. 4… Also contributed on the ground with 10 carries for 61 yards and three rushing touchdowns, including a career-long 24-yard rush.
O'Brien was particularly effective against Bates on Sept. 20, recording career highs of nine receptions and 140 receiving yards while scoring two receiving touchdowns… Added two rushing touchdowns against Williams on Sept. 27… Finished the season as one of Trinity's most versatile offensive weapons, scoring nine total touchdowns.
He also made a significant impact in the return game, recording 15 punt returns for 236 yards and a touchdown… His 79-yard punt return against Bates marked the longest punt return of the season by a Trinity player.
2024 (JUNIOR)
O'Brien enjoyed a breakout junior season, starting all nine games and establishing himself as one of the NESCAC's top wide receivers… Led Trinity with 63 receptions for 857 yards and nine touchdowns… Averaged 13.6 yards per reception and contributed 27 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on eight carries… Also served as a key return specialist, recording nine kick returns for 166 yards and 16 punt returns for 209 yards.
O'Brien produced one of the most impressive receiving performances of his career against Williams on Sept. 28, 2024, setting career highs with 212 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns… His longest reception of the season was a 62-yard touchdown… Earned NESCAC Player of the Week honors following the performance.
He also established a career-high with 10 receptions against Amherst on Nov. 2, 2024.
2023 (SOPHOMORE)
O'Brien made his collegiate debut against Tufts on Sept. 16, 2023… Recorded his first collegiate reception, kick return and punt return in his debut… Finished the season with 20 receptions for 309 yards and appeared in six games.
