Maia Rumsey enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Trinity College men's and women's cross country and track & field programs in the upcoming 2023-24 seasons. Rumsey, who has three years of expertise under her belt, earned her bachelor's from Ithaca College in 2018 and became a graduate assistant track coach at her alma mater while working toward her master's degree in exercise and sports sciences degree. After Ithaca, Rumsey coached varsity track at Frostburg State University in the spring semester of 2022. At Frostburg, she provided instruction in sprint, hurdle and relay techniques, where she qualified 13 student-athletes in the sprint and hurdle groups for the Mountain East Conference Championship meet.
