Avery Giorgio returns to Trinity College as an assistant women's lacrosse coach for the 2023 season and enters her second season in 2023-24. Giorgio is welcomed back after a year at the Millbrook School, where she was assistant athletic director, coached lacrosse and soccer, taught algebra, advised students and managed a first-year dorm. She is currently the director of lacrosse programming for the Nor’Easter Club Team out of Connecticut where she oversees all current programs, creates programs as well as develops current players. She played for and has been involved with Nor’Easter for 10 years. Giorgio was a full-time assistant with the Bantams from the fall of 2018 to the spring of 2021.
Giorgio enjoyed a successful playing career at Holy Cross as well as numerous stops as a coach prior to her initial arrival at Trinity. Giorgio graduated from Holy Cross with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2017 where she was a captain of the Crusaders' women's lacrosse team. She coached the soccer and lacrosse squads at Cheshire Academy, was a head coach of the Nor'easter Premiere Lacrosse Club in New Haven and worked as a camp counselor at Holy Cross women's lacrosse camps.Â
