Biography
AS A JUNIOR IN 2021: Two-year starter.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020: Led the NESCAC in saves...tied for the team lead in ground balls.
AS A ROOKIE IN 2019: Played in every game...recorded 13 saves in a 14-9 win against Williams...had 11 saves in a loss to Tufts and 10 stops in a setback at Bowdoin...stopped eight of 11 shots in a 17-3 win against St. Lawrence at Rensselaer.
BEFORE TRINITY: All-conference honoree, three-time all-area selection, area player of the year, and an All-American for her high school team that won three State titles and reached a fourth State championship game...recorded a career high school save percentage of .800 in high school...also lettered in field hockey.
PERSONAL: Member of Trinity's Student Athlete Advisory Committee in 2020-21...would like to join the FBI...majoring in psychology...daughter of Mike and Maria Young...father coached ice hockey at North Carolina State University.
WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity for its competitive nature, academically and athletically, its tight-knit community, and the one-on-one attention that I can get from professors in the small class sizes...hopes to join the FBI after graduation.
