BEFORE TRINITY: Team offensive MVP twice for her high school team that won a State title with an undefeated record and allowed just one goal.

PERSONAL: Earned Faculty Honors in the fall of 2019...member of Trinity's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in 2020-21...received awards in high school for science, physical education, Spanish, and mathematics...volunteered with a national forest cleanup, watching children of parents who are learning English at the Hurtado Center, working with children with disabilities at Camp Yakety Yak, and at the Northwest Children's Outreach providing clothes and toys to needy families...gigantic Cincinnati Bengals fan...would like to attend graduate school...majoring in neurobiochemistry...daughter of John and Kirsten Hawkins.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity because it is a small, liberal arts college with strong academics and competitive athletics. I loved the campus, as it was close to the city but felt like it was also separate, and every person I talked to was incredibly nice and welcoming.
