Peter Maneggia

Peter Maneggia, Jr. will begin his fifth season as a Trinity College volleyball assistant coach in 2022.  Maneggia was the head men's and women's volleyball coach at Nichols College in 2017-18 after previously working as an assistant for the Bantams before that.  

He has also coached softball as an assistant at Trinity, and served as acting head coach of that program in the spring of 2021.  Maneggia is a 1988 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in human service administration.

Maneggia spent seven years as a member of the women's volleyball program at Eastern Connecticut State, first as an assistant (2008-10) and later the head coach (2011-14). During his first stop in Hartford, he worked with the Bantams on defense and service reception while assisting with recruiting. He also was the head men's coach at South Windsor High School for three seasons where his teams compiled a record of 49-22 and advanced to two Class M state championships, winning in 2016. 

Maneggia was the co-director of the volleyball club at CT Velocity VBC, INC, where he worked with 150 youth volleyball players ages 10-18. He has also worked a pair of USA Volleyball clinics (2013-14) and, most recently, the High Performance Clinic with Olympic Volleyball Staff in Colorado Springs, Colo.  Maneggia coached collegiate softball at Central Connecticut State (200-04), University of St. Joseph (2004-05), and ECSU (2007-12).
