The Trinity College volleyball team has hired Ryan Kenny as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2023 season. Kenny brings a wealth of coaching playing experience to the Bantam staff, having served most recently as an assistant men's and women's volleyball coach at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, N.Y. Kenny was also an assistant women's volleyball coach previously at New Jersey City University in 2020-21 and as a student assistant at Montclair State University, from 2011 to 2014. He helped coached the men's volleyball squad at Durham University in the United Kingdom and has worked at volleyball camps at the University of Michigan.
Kenny earned his bachelor's degree in jurisprudence and philosophy in 2014 from Montclair State and added a master's degree from Durham University Business School in England. He has professional playing experience in the United States, England, Germany, and Slovakia, and helped coach the English Men's Senior National Team. He has extensive club experience as a head and assistant coach, and has served as the National Head Coach at Sideout VBC in New Jersey since 2014.
