Biography
AS A SENIOR IN 2020-21: Two-year captain.
AS A JUNIOR IN 2019: Played in every match...led the Bantams in hitting percentage, assists, and services aces (10th in NESCAC) and 3rd on team in digs.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2018: Led the Bantams in assists (8th in NESCAC), 3rd on team in blocks and digs, and 4th in aces.
AS A ROOKIE IN 2017: Led the Bantams in hitting percentage and assists (8th in NESCAC), 3rd on team in blocks and 5th in aces and digs...had a career-high 56 assists versus Clark...had a career-high five service aces in her first collegiate match against Eastern Connecticut State.
BEFORE TRINITY: All-league in high school.
PERSONAL: Interned in Hawaii studying digestive diseases...enjoys skiing...majoring in neuroscience with a minor in Hispanic studies...daughter of Debra Wong Yang and Russell Yang...father rowed and played soccer for the Bantams...sister, Taylor, fenced at Cornell.
WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity for its good academics, its small size, its good sports programs, the welcoming feeling I got on campus, and its strong science program.
