AS A JUNIOR IN 2017-18: All-NEWA Second Team...first Bantam since 2014 to qualify for the NCAA Championships...led Trinity in wins (2nd-most all-time at Trinity), winning percentage, and pins...finished the year ranked No. 1 in NEWA at 149 pounds...NWCA Division III Scholar All-American...NEWA All-Academic Team...NESCAC All-Academic Team.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2016-17: Led Trinity in wins, winning percentage (.703), and pins...went 5-1 at the Ted Reese Invitational...earned All-NEWA Duals honors...reached the NCAA Division III Championship Consolation Quarterfinals at 141 pounds...National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III Scholar All-American...NEWA All-Academic Team...NESCAC All-Academic Team.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015-16: Led Trinity in winning percentage...NEWA All-Academic Team... recipient of the team's TED award for embodying team, effort, and dedication.

BEFORE TRINITY: State Champion and a two-time All-State honoree for his high school team...won 121 of his 142 high school matches...received seperate team awards for leadership (twice), toughness, and pride in high school.

PERSONAL: Earned Faculty Honors in the spring of 2018...received an award in high school for excellence in French...Eagle Scout...has done volunteer work with a regional food bank and the humane society...plays the electric and and the upright bass...enjoys cooking aqnd cycling...can ride a unicycle...would like to attend medical school...majoring in English Literature...son of Carol and John Sorensen... earned 2018 Fall Faculty Honors.
