Hartford, Mass. - Sophomore Gina Dinallo (West Hartford,
Conn.) made seven saves in goal and the defense collected
their fourth shutout of the season as the Trinity College Bantams
cruised to a 3-0 victory over the Connecticut College Camels in New
England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) field hockey
action this afternoon on Robin Sheppard Field. Trinity,
ranked No. 6 in the nation, improves to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in the
NESCAC, while the Camels fall to 3-5 overall and 2-3 in the
league.
Trinity jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by
junior Christy Bradley (Wellesley, Mass.), her
team-leading ninth of the season. The Bantams would add
another two goals in the second half off the sticks of senior
co-captain Carrie Wolcott (Hamilton, Mass.) and
first-year Alanna Capasso (Weston, Mass.).
Senior goalkeeper Steph Quinn (Arlington,
Mass.) made seven saves in net for the Camels who drop
their third straight match.
