Williamstown, Mass. - Senior Torrey Taussig (Larchmont, N.Y.) had a goal and an assist to lead the Williams College Ephs to a 3-2 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's ice hockey action this afternoon.  Trinity, ranked No. 4 in the nation, falls to 14-3-2 overall and 7-3-2 in the NESCAC with its second loss in as many days, while Williams improves to 8-7-1 and 6-3-1 in the league with its third victory in a row.

Williams never trailed, scoring twice in the first period, before Trinity junior tri-captain forward Kim Weiss (Potomac, Md.) scored from sophomore forward Hannah Harvey (Silverthorne, Colo.) 6:54 into the second frame.  Taussig and Lauren Zurek (Plymouth, Minn.) assisted Nicolle Perry (Mohegan Lake, N.Y.) on the gamewinner at 11:53 of the second.  Junior forward Jill Roloff (West Seneca.) scored in the third period to bring Trinity back within one 5:10 into the third frame, but Williams goalie Sara Plunkett (Barrington, R.I.) held Trinity at bay the rest of the way.  Plunkett finished with 38 saves and Trinity senior tri-captain netminder Isabel Iwachiw (New York, N.Y.) stopped 17 shots.
