Middletown, Conn. - The visiting Trinity College Bantam men's
tennis team posted a 9-0 win over the Wesleyan University Cardinals
in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's
tennis action this afternoon. Trinity, ranked No. 20 in the
nation, improves to 5-2 with its fourth straight victory and a
ninth in a row over the Cardinals, who drop to 8-4. Junior
David Dessau (New York, N.Y.) did not allow a
point in a straight-set singles win at the No. 6 spot, and teamed
with sophomore Charles McConnell (Southampton,
N.Y.) for an 8-1 triumph at third doubles.
