Hartford, Conn. - The No. 4-ranked doubles team in the
Northeast, senior tri-captain Spencer Feldman (Upper
Brookville, N.Y.) and sophomore Anson McCook
(Miami, Fla.), won, 9-7, at No. 1 doubles against the No.
5-ranked duo and each won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2
singles, respectively, to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 5-4
win against the visiting Bates College Bobcats in men's tennis
action this afternoon. Trinity, ranked No. 5 in the Northeast
and No. 18 in the nation, improves to 12-4 overall and 4-3 in the
NESCAC, while the Bobcats, ranked No. 7 in the region, drop to 9-5
overall and 3-3 in the league. Feldman/McCook is ranked No. 4
