Trinity Volleyball Sweeps Pair At Hamilton Tourney, Coach Bowman Wins 300th

Clinton, N.Y. - Senior MH Courtney Chaloff (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) totaled 14 kills to lead the Trinity College Bantams to 3-0 sweeps against the SUNY-Cobleskill Fighting Tigers and the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Trailblazers in the Continental Volleyball Classic at Hamilton College this afternoon.  Trinity, ranked No. 7 in New England, improve to 16-7 with a 3-1 record for the two-day affair.  The second win today for Trinity volleyball gave Trinity Head Coach Jen Bowman 300 career wins as head coach at Frostburg State, Bates, and Trinity. She is 300-124 in her career overall, 123-75 at Trinity.

Trinity sophomore OH Hannah Brickley added nine kills against Massachusetts College, and was named to the all-tournament team, while sophomore S Amy Hackett (Wallingford, Conn.) collected 11 assists and four aces.  Against Cobleskill State, Trinity freshman RS Lily Talesnick (Littleton, Colo.) made good on 11 of 13 kill attempts, and sophomore L Clara Zinman (Shrewsbury, Mass.) served up seven aces.
