Princeton, N.J. – The Princeton University Tigers defeated the visiting Trinity College Bantams, 5-4, in the College Squash Association (CSA) National Championship Third-Place Match this afternoon at Jadwin Courts. Trinity, ranked No. 3 in the nation, closes the season with a 14-4 record. The Bantams had defeated Princeton one week ago, 6-3, in New Jersey in the regular-season finale. All four of Trinity's points were won by 3-0 scores, while the three of the five Tigers victories were hard-fought five-game battles including a 3-2 triumph at the No. 1 position by Julie Cerullo (Brooklyn, N.Y.) over Bantam rookie phenom Catalina Pelaez (Bogota, Colombia). Trinity senior co-captain Robyn Williams (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) was dominant in her final dual match, allowing just 12 points in a 3-0 win the No. 9 position.
