won, 6-0, 6-3 at No. 3 singles and teamed with fellow rookie
Elizabeth Gerber (Bethesda, Md.) for an 8-4 triumph at No. 3
doubles, leading the Trinity College Bantams to a 7-2 win over the
visiting Bates College Bobcats in New England Small College
Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis action this
afternoon at the Assaiante Tennis Center. Trinity improves to
9-4 overall and 4-2 in the NESCAC with its fourth win in a row,
while the Bobcats drop to 4-12 overall and 0-5 in the league with
their seventh consecutive defeat. Junior Kelsey Semrod
(Princeton, N.J.) and sophomore Frances Cameron (Mill Valley,
Calif.) also won in both singles and doubles for Trinity, while
junior Meg Anderson (Cohasset, Mass.) did the same for Bates.
