Amherst, Mass. – The Amherst Lord Jeffs defeated the visiting Trinity College Bantams, 7-2, in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's tennis action this afternoon indoors at Hampshire College. Trinity, ranked No. 4 in the Northeast and No. 15 in the nation, falls to 9-5 overall and 4-3 in the NESCAC, while the Lord Jeffs, ranked No. 4 in the nation, jump to 28-1 overall and 7-0 in the league with their 11th victory in a row. In doubles play, Trinity No. 1 pair Anson McCook (Miami, Fla.) and Rich Bonfiglio (Bronxville, N.Y.) won, 9-7, while Bonfiglio also scored a win of 7-5, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
