Thousand Oaks, Calif. - The California Lutheran University Kingsmen defeated the visiting Trinity College Bantams, 9-0, in men's tennis action this afternoon.  Trinity, ranked No. 19 in the nation, falls to 1-2, while the No. 9-ranked Kingsmen improve to 9-2.  Bantam rookies Ned Mandel (Chevy Chase, Md.) and Dan Carpenter (Wayzata, Minn.) were each tied at 1-1 in singles matches before losing in third-set tiebreakers.
