Claremont, Calif. – The Trinity College Bantams blanked the Babson College Beavers, 9-0, but lost to the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stag, 7-2, in men's tennis action this afternoon on the courts of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges. The Bantams, ranked No. 19 in the nation, are now 2-3, while Babson is 3-5, and the No. 18-ranked Stags improve to 7-4. Bantam senior tri-captain Anson McCook (Miami, Fla.) won at No. 1 singles in straight sets and teamed with rookie Ned Mandel (Chevy Chase, Md.) for a 9-8 (6) triumph at No. 1 doubles.
