Claremont, Calif. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges Athenas
defeated the visiting Trinity College Bantams, 9-0, in women's
tennis action this evening. Senior captain Kelsey Semrod
(Princeton, N.J.) took her opponent to a third-set tiebreaker in
the No. 4 singles match for the Bantams, who fall to 1-2. The
No. 8-ranked Athenas improve to 9-2 with their fifth consecutive
victory.
