New London, Conn. - Freshmen Ned Mandel (Chevy Chase, Md.) and
Daniel Carpenter (Wayzata, Minn.) each put on dominating
performance against the Connecticut College Camels, as the visiting
Trinity College Bantams posted a 9-0 shutout in New England
Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) mjen's tennis action
this afternoon. Both rookies won with ease, defeating
their respective singles opponents, 6-1, 6-0. Mandel also helped
senior tri-captain Anson McCook (Miami, Fla.) to an 8-1 triumph at
No. 1 doubles. Trinity improves to 5-4 overall and 2-1 in the
NESCAC.
