Trinity Women's Ice Hockey Comes From Behind To Win At Connecticut College

New London, Conn. - Senior captain forward Emily Kleidon (Oakdale, Minn.) and sophomore forward Emma Tani (Orange, Calif.) scored goals to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Connecticut College Camels in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's ice hockey action this afternoon.  Trinity improves to 1-0-1 overall and in the NESCAC and wins its first game under new head coach Jenny Potter.  Connecticut College drops top 0-1-1 overall and in the league.

"I was pleased to see the decisions and progress that was made in today's game," said Potter.

Kleidon tied the game at 1-1 with a short-handed goal 4:11 into the second period, and Tani scored from junior defender Emily Riccio (Simsbury, Conn.) with 1:11 remaining before the final break.  Senior Kristen Maxwell (Nashville, Tenn.) made 27 saves in net for the Bantams.
