Trinity Men's Tennis Drops Road Match At Tufts

Medford, Mass. - Sophomore David Myers (Winnetka, Ill.) and first-year Ford Traff (Wayzata, Minn.) recorded the lone Trinity College point with a 9-8 (3) victory at No. 3 doubles, as the visiting Bantams lost, 8-1, against the Tufts University Jumbos in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's tennis action this afternoon.  Trinity drops to 6-7 overall and 1-4 in the NESCAC, while Tufts improves to 8-4 overall and 3-3 in the league.

Trinity trailed, 2-1, after doubles play and forced tw of six singles matches to a third set.  Sophomore No. 4 Ilya Levin (Wellesley, Mass.) lost, 6-3, 7-6 (4), 13-11, and classmate Musyoka Mbithi (Orange, N.J.) fell, 6-4, 4-6, 10-6 at No. 5.
