Hartford, Conn. – The visiting Amherst College Lord Jeffs
won, 9-0, against the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small
College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's tennis action this
afternoon at Assaiante Center. Trinity drops to 7-6 overall
and 3-3 in the league, while the No. 3-ranked Lord Jeffs improve to
25-2 overall and 4-0 in the NESCAC with their 13th consecutive
victory. Trinity juniors Dan Carpenter (Wayzata, Minn.) and
David Myers (Winnetka, Ill.) put up a solid fight at No. 1 doubles
in an 8-6 setback.
