New London, Conn. - Junior Ilya Levin (Wellesley, Mass.) dominated his singles and doubles matches to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to an 8-1 victory over the Connecticut College Camels in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) in men's tennis action this afternoon on the South Tennis Courts this afternoon. Trinity improves to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the NESCAC with its third straight triumph, while the Camels fall to 4-3 overall and 0-2 in the league.
Levin teamed with first-year Rutendo Matingo (Weston, Mass.) for an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles and won, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 6 singles. Trinity swept doubles play to jump to a 3-0 lead and cruised to straight-set victories in five of six singles matches.
