Amherst, Mass. - Trinity College senior Ilya Levin (Wellesley, Mass.) and junior Ford Traff (Wayzata, Minn.) won singles matches, but the visiting Bantams suffered a 7-2 setback against the Amherst College Lord Jeffs in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's tennis action this afternoon. Trinity, ranked No. 23 in the nation, falls to 6-3 overall and 2-2 in the NESCAC, while the No. 4-ranked Lord Jeffs improve to 14-4 overall and 3-0 in the league. Amherst led, 3-0, after doubles and won four singles matches in straight sets. Levin pulled out a 7-6, 7-5 win at No. 5 singles, and Traff outlasted Aaron Revzin, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the No. 4 singles spot.
