Waterville, Maine - Senior captain Dan Carpenter (Wayzata, Minn.) downed the region's No. 4-ranked player, 6-3, 6-2, and senior captain Musyoka Mbithi (Roxbury, N.J.) and junior Ford Traff (Wayzata, Minn.) downed the region's No. 4-ranked doubles tandem, 9-8 (4) to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 7-2 victory over the Colby College Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's tennis action this afternoon. Trinity, ranked No. 23 in the nation, improves to 10-3 overall and 5-2 in the NESCAC with its fourth-straight win, while the Mules drop to 7-9 overall and 0-6 in the league.
