Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams lost, 7-2, against the No. 8 ranked Amherst Purple & White in men's tennis action in Hartford this afternoon. Trinity falls to 3-3 with its first home match of the spring, while Amherst improves to 10-3. Trinity senior tri-captain Ford Traff (Wayzata, Minn.) defeated Amherst freshman Zach Bessette (Bradenton, Fla.) in the No. 2 spot with the other Bantam point coming in the No. 4 spot in the lineup from fellow senior tri-captain Aaron Segel (Needham, Mass.). Trinity returns to action on Saturday when they host Colby in the team's second of three matches in four days.
