Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College men's tennis team won three straight singles matches after being tied 3-3 to pull away from the Colby College Mules and earn a 6-3 victory on Saturday morning in Hartford. Trinity took a 2-1 lead after doubles action thanks to wins by Carlos Feyrreros/Cam Smith and Rutendo Matingo/William Boyd. Matingo earned a win in singles action in the No. 3 spot as did Boyd, Feyrreros, and senior tri-captain Aaron Segel (Needham, Mass.) in the No. 5, 6, and 4 spots, respectively. Carl Reid and Vlad Murray earned singles wins in the top two spots for the Mules as well as a doubles victory. Trinity returns to action tomorrow as they host the Wheaton College Lions at 1 p.m.
