Clinton, N.Y. - The Trinity College women's tennis team was defeated, 6-3, by the Hamilton College Continentals on Sunday in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) action in up-state New York. Trinity falls to 3-8 overall with the loss.
The Bantams trailed, 2-1, after doubles action as sophomore Vanja Babunski (Belgrade, Serbia) and freshman Zoe Lindbloom (Wayzata, Minn.) won a battle in the No. 1 doubles spot, 9-8. Both Babunski and Lindbloom won their matches in singles action with Lindbloom winning her match in three sets. Trinity returns to action on Wednesday as they play hosts to the Wesleyan Cardinals at 3:30 p.m.
