Trinity Women's Squash Shuts Out Williams For 11th NESCAC Title In A Row

Amherst, Mass. -  The top-seeded Trinity College women's squash team secured its 11th straight New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship following a 9-0 win over No. 2-seeded Williams College this afternoon at the Davenport Squash Courts on the campus of tournament host Amherst College. Trinity swept courts one through eight, and used a 3-2 win on court nine to seal the match. Williams has finished second for the eighth time, and the third time in the last three years after falling to the Bantams, 9-0, in both 2015 and 2016.  Trinity junior Julia LeCoq (Creteil, France) and first-year Lakeesha Rarere (Gold Coast Australia) were the most dominant today, allowing just six points each in the No. 5 and No. 4 spots, respectively.  Trinity, ranked No. 3 in the nation, has won every NESCAC women's squash crown in the tournament's 11-year history.  The Bantams are 13-1 and have won six matches in a row.
