Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College women's squash team defeated the George Washington Colonials, 8-1, on Saturday afternoon at the Kellner squash Center in Hartford. Trinity concludes it's fall semester schedule with a 5-0 record while George Washington false to 1-5 on the year. The Bantams take a break for the holidays before returning to action on January 8th at home versus Columbia.
Five of Trinity's eight wins came via a 3-0 sweep. Rookie Nadia Usenko (Kiev, Ukraine) allowed just eight points at No 5 while classmate Amina Taher (Alexandria, Egypt) yielded just six points at No. 7, winning 11-0 in the match-clinching set.
