Trinity Men's Tennis Beaten By Bowdoin In First Spring Match

Claremont, Calif. - The Trinity College Bantams opened the 2018 spring season with a 9-0 setback against the No. 4-ranked Bowdoin College Polar Bears in its first dual match of the year this afternoon.  Trinity's No. 1 doubles pair made up of senior co-captains Rex Glickman (Chappaqua, N.Y.) and Kyle Scheffers (Flossmoor, Ill.) put up a good fight in a 9-7 loss, but the Polar Bears took the other two doubles matches by a combined score of 16-1 and won all six singles matches in straight sets.  Trinity will face the Vassar College Brewers on Tuesday, March 13 at 5 p.m. at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
