Trinity Men's Tennis Upended At Home By No. 4 Williams

Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 match to the No. 4-ranked Williams College Ephs on Saturday afternoon in Hartford. Trinity falls to 5-6 on the year and 0-5 in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) while Williams picks up its sixth-straight victory to improve to 10-2 overall and 3-0 in conference.

Senior co-captains Rex Glickman (Chappaqua, N.Y.) and Kyle Scheffers (Flossmoor, Ill.) earned Trinity's lone victory, at the top doubles spot. The duo lost game one, 7-5, before grinding out wins in the next two sets to come away with the victory. Glickman put up a strong fight at the top singles spot, taking Brian Grodecki of Williams to the wire, but ultimately lost.

Trinity returns to action next Saturday for a home match versus Middlebury.
