Cambridge, Mass. - The Trinity College Bantams defeated the Stanford University Cardinal in women's squash action this afternoon at Harvard University.  Trinity, ranked No. 2 in the nation, improves to 7-1, while the No. 5-ranked Cardinal falls to 5-3.  The Bantams will visit Cornell on Wednesday, January 16 at noon in their next match. 

Four Trinity players won by 3-0 scores, including rookie Sahari Lopez (Zappopan, Mexico) at the top of the ladder, junior Salma Alam El Din (Cairo, Egypt) at No.3, senior co-captain Jenny Haley (Newport, Wales) at No. 6, and junior Lakeesha Rarere (Hastings, New Zealand) at No. 9.  Trinity sophomores Akanksha Salunkhe (Vasco de Gama, India) and Min Jie Teh (Klang, Malaysia) came back from deficits of 0-2 and 1-2, respectively to earn 3-2 victories.  Caroline Neave won for Stanford at the No. 4 spot in the lineup.
