Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams came roaring back from a 2-0 deficit to win the remaining seven points and post a 7-2 victory over the Princeton University Tigers in the semifinal round of the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championship (Howe Cup) Semifinals this afternoon at George A. Kellner Squash Center. No. 3-seeded Trinity reaches the Howe Cup Finals for the 10th time and the second year in a row and will face top-seeded Harvard in the finals tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. The Bantams, which had dropped a 5-4 decision to Princeton in January, improve to 17-2. Trinity fell behind early, 2-0, after a 3-0 win by Tiger senior Isabel Hirshberg (Philadelphia, Pa.) at the botton of the ladder and hard-fought, 3-2 victory by sophomore Emme Leonard (Harrison, N.Y.) over Trinity senior co-captain Jenny Haley (Newport, Wales). Juniors Salma Alam El Din (Cairo, Egypt) and Lakeesha Rarere (Hastings, New Zeland) tied the score with back-to-back Bantam wins.
