Trinity Men's Tennis Completes West Coast Swing With Loss At California Lutheran

Thousand Oaks, Calif. - The visiting Trinity College Bantams completed their West Coast swing over spring break with a 9-0 loss to the California Lutheran University Kingsmen in men's tennis action this afternoon at Poulson Courts.  Trinity falls to 0-4, while the Kingsmen are now 7-4 and the winners of four matches in a row.  The Bantams return to the courts on Saturday, March 30 at Coast Guard at 1 p.m.  In doubles, Trinity sophomores Chris Bilicic (Chicago, Ill.) and Granville Kaynor (New Orleans, La.) battled to an 8-7 setback in the No. 3 spot, falling, 7-4, in the tiebreaker.  Bantam first-year Ross DeRose (Buffalo, N.Y.) won his first set against California Lutheran's Ransom Braaten, 6-4, but lost, 6-3, in the second set and,10-5, in the tiebreaker. The five other singles matches went two sets.
