HARTFORD, Conn. - Junior Steve Yeonas (McLean, Va.) scored both goals to lead the visiting Connecticut College Camels to a 2-0 victory over the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's soccer action this evening at Trinity Soccer Field. The Bantams fall to 2-9 overall and 0-6 in the NESCAC with their fourth consecutive setback, while the Camels improve to 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the league with their fifth win in a row. Trinity sophomore goalkeeper Bernado Simoes (Lisbon, Portugal) put in a strong effort with seven saves.
Yeonas scored in the 28th and 32nd minutes on assists by sophomore Matt Scoffone (Thornton, Pa.), while Jack Marvel (Marion, Mass.) added an assist on the second marker.
