CLINTON, N.Y. – The Trinity College men's soccer team lost to Hamilton College Saturday afternoon, 2-1. The Bantams drop to 2-9 and are still seeking their first conference win. Hamilton improves to 5-6-1 and picks up its first victory over a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) opponent. Trinity resumes action on Wednesday when they host Western Connecticut State University at 7 p.m.
In what was a scoreless first 70 minutes of action, Hamilton's Pandelis Margaronis was able to net the game's first goal on an unassisted score. The Bantams answered at the 84-minute mark when rookie
Rasheed Sarieh put one past the keeper for his second collegiate goal on an assist from classmate
Jacob Loor who registered his first career helper. However, less than a minute after Sarieh's equalizer, Hamilton's Luke Peplowski created his own shot and cashed in on the game-winner.

Bernardo Simoes recorded his second-straight game with seven saves while Hamilton's Thomas Benson tallied a pair of his own. The Continentals outshot Trinity 11-4 and posted three corner kicks while the Bantams were unable to create a single corner kick opportunity on the afternoon
