Jackie Frank (Longmeadow, Mass.) scored the game-winning goal with 3:59 left in the third quarter to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Endicott College Gulls in field hockey action this afternoon on Sheppard Field. Trinity, ranked No. 19 in the nation, improves to 3-0 for the first time since 2013 with the home-opening triumph, while the No. 21-ranked Gulls drop to 1-2 with their second loss in a row. The Bantams will host New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) rival Colby on Saturday in their next game. Endicott hosts Connecticut College on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Emma Cropper (Norwalk, Conn.) made two saves to up her season record to 3-0. Hogan had four saves in three quarters for the Gulls in a losing effort.
