Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College women's soccer team played 110 minutes of action on Saturday afternoon. Following regulation, the Bantams and NESCAC foe Colby College competed for two extra periods before the final buzzer left both squads with a 0-0 tie on their records. Trinity (2-1-1) will resume action Tuesday night when the team travels to Clark University for a 7 p.m. start. The Mules (1-0-1) will square off with Connecticut College Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
The Bantams took a total of 24 shots in the contest, 11 of which were on target. Colby managed to put just three attempts on goal, two of which were saved by sophomore keeper
Mariana Cournoyer. Meanwhile, Colby goalkeeper Emily McMaster racked up a whopping 11 saves on the afternoon.
